Group session | Emotional regulation

Many of the challenges we see in society today — domestic abuse, violence against women and girls, and serious youth crime — often stem from unresolved emotions, untaught coping mechanisms, and misplaced expressions of masculinity.

That’s why it’s critical that young men are taught how to regulate their emotions from an early age.

Without the tools to manage anger, frustration, shame, or rejection, many young men act out in destructive ways — hurting others, damaging relationships, and limiting their futures. Emotional regulation isn’t about weakness — it’s about control, strength, and self-awareness.

At kNOw Big Bro, our interventions give young men:

  • A safe space to understand their emotions

  • Practical strategies to cope and respond, not react

  • Guidance on healthy masculinity and respectful behaviour

  • Positive male role models who lead by example

These sessions are more than just conversations — they’re life-shaping experiences that redirect potential away from harm and toward purpose.

💬 When young men are taught to feel, they learn not to harm.

Let’s break cycles, challenge norms, and build a generation of young men who know how to lead with emotional intelligence and respect.
